Back to Marshmallow Fluff

Kendra Lepley-Pershing

Drummer

Born September 23, 2000

A quiet bunny from the Great Lakes with a love for fast-paced indie and alt rock, particularly rock from across the pond. She started the band with her girlfriend Brooklyne and their mutual college friend Scully in 2018. To the fans of the band, Kendra is perhaps one of the most enigmatic members due to her being quiet and hiding away in the background at all cost. A trans woman with a deeper, un-trained voice, she struggles with self confidence issues and thrives in performing with a mask and tall collar to hide her face, and never doing backing vocals in any capacity. She possesses incredible speed and technique. Her drum kit has two large kick drums that she loves to go to town on as a go-to fill, as well as a hand-me-down set of taiko drums that Minaru's family gave her. In spite of her unassuming appearance, she is the most athletic member of the band, often going on long runs, even attempting a 5k at one point and has a goal of attempting a marathon.

She is the second youngest of a large blended family, her father a blue jay, and her mother a bunny. Her elder siblings are Friday Lepley (b. 1992), Hunter Pershing (b. 1993), Nathan Lepley (b. 1995), Preston Pershing (b. 1996), and August Lepley (b. 1998). Her younger sibling is Victoria Lepley-Pershing (b. 2002). Her home life was very hectic growing up, but it smoothed out over time as she became self-sufficient.

Within the group, her signature color is purple.
